Education & Background

Background:
Since 2002, Roger has worked with individuals & families as a teacher, service provider, and a therapist.  His passion for helping individuals & couples make the best relationship decisions for themselves stems back to his time as a preschool educator in an urban school district, where he saw firsthand how familial issues affected children.  Afterwards, Roger worked at a care management organization (CMO) in NJ that is dedicated to linking children with a high level of need to the services required to keep them in the community.  During this time he observed the role of familial relationships and caregivers play in the development of of children’s behaviors (both positive & negative).  It was while at the CMO that he also worked as an in-home counselor while working on his diploma in Marriage & Family Therapy. Afterwards, Roger provided counseling to individuals, couples, and families at a nonprofit counseling center.  Currently, Roger works as a clinician for Family Intervention Services.
